Thursday, June 22nd 11am. At least ten teams will be playing this year. Deb working on signs and picking up door prizes. Travis will send a final email.
I Day
Other volunteers stepped up to chair the event. Will be in the Syracuse area and now off our agenda.
Networking Event
Danielle attended a regional meeting for chapter leaders to discuss how we get more people in the area involved in CPCU meetings. Blue Sox family night was suggested. Each member will receive two tickets, and more could be purchased if needed. We could do a package with food/drinks/ticket or admission only. Potential dates emailed from Danielle on 6/1.
D&I Class Discussion
Jim putting together a class again this year which will be joint with the Syracuse Chapter. Initial suggested date sometime in July. One hour of CE credit, new class every year, chapter pay for everyone’s attendance who needs the credit. Stay tuned for more information.

Thursday, June 22nd 11am. Currently four teams are registered with two-three more teams possible. Mary offered to provide some door prizes.
I Day
Reviewed discussion from April’s meeting. No other information currently.
Rewards System
Travis shared the spreadsheet created to track points for members in attendance at meetings (10 points), events (20-25 points), and volunteer activities.
Networking
Planning another networking event either end of July or August. Past meet and greets were held at Cavallos and Celtic Harp in Utica.
Other Events
Travis will be attending an event at MVCC for one of our scholarships.
Discussed ways to engage younger professionals. Mary mentioned a program with SUNY Oneonta. Also looking to engage MVCC, Utica University, and LaMoyne. Project Invest was mentioned to connect with high school students and promote careers in risk management.

Syracuse I-Day Joint Venture
Jim Lombardo presented the idea of combining with the Syracuse Chapter to organize an I-Day. Would need someone to chair the event. Discussed possibility of a virtual event. Decision to continue discussion at next month’s meeting.
Golf Outing Update
Four teams already signed up. A flyer was attached to the March 17th email.
Member Rewards System
Attendance will be taken at meetings/events: 25 points per meeting attended and 50 points for each event.
Networking, Scholarships, Other Events
Past events hosted at Celtic Harp and Cavallos.
Travis mentioned United Way trip from 2022 Golf Outing Donation and suggested this year the donation goes to a rare skin disease- Epidermolysis bullosa.
An event with Utica College students was mentioned to build interest in jobs within insurance.
We currently have 2 scholarships available.
Suggestion was made that we have a presence at other well known fundraisers to raise awareness i.e. American Heart

Danielle reviewing Utica Dashboard for Lapsed and Non-members to recruit.
Ethics Event
March is Ethics Awareness Month. Possible Event: Monday, March 6th 11:30am Central Time “Ethics Twilight Zone” with ½-1 hour Chapter discussion at a later date.
Golf event
Deb is working on the 3rd Annual Golf Outing at Pine Hills for June 8th starting at 11:30am.
Circle of Excellence/Goals update
2022 form submitted. 2023 planning form being submitted on 3/2/23
